MUSOU BLACK (Shin Kokushoku Musou) is known as one of the darkest water-based acrylic paints in the world. Comparable to velvet in its light absorption, this paint achieves an extraordinary matte black finish using a user-friendly, water-based formula.

While typical black paints absorb approximately 94–98% of visible light, MUSOU BLACK (when applied using the recommended airbrush dry-spray method) achieves an absorption rate of 99.4% (total reflectance of only 0.6%). This enables entirely new visual expressions in art, modeling, and three-dimensional works.
